Jeff Koon, Balloon Dog (Blue), 1994-2000

This is an amazing piece has created a very real life like sculpture of a balloon dog out of stainless steal it simply looks amazing and the work being quite extensive from the oil paintings and the miniatures made out of porcelain this does represent a good evaluation to thees large pieces, and there are 5 of thees large dogs in total a Blue, Magenta, Yellow, Orange and Red, they sound very very colourful and simply beautiful, it represents a very clean cut contemporary line to the whole piece and it is very easy to see how it took up to 6 years to complete them, and i think it is quite sad that thees dog have to spent their time apart so much i think they should have a re union some time soon it would look amazing in a gallery space, and it would just simply be really cute to have all of thees dog in the same place at once like a reunion of Koon's pets. but apart from the cute factor and the beauty of the piece it doesn't much of an idea behind it so he has made some big balloon dogs and looking into Koons a little bit more he doesn't really create the pieces himself but uses some what 35 assistance's to create his pieces which i don't Really appreciate in the contemporary art industry, but never the less this is an amazing piece it is truly been a blast on the world of art everyone knowing of his work and the technical applications needed are amazing and it is truly an eye- popping monument in arts history and balloon making.
